This week I had the pleasure of meeting two new classmates, Alicia and Roy. Alecia is attending her 2nd year here at CSULB and she loves it here. She is working towards her Psychology major and is hoping to be something along the lines of a therapist when she graduates. She’s from Temecula, California and lives on campus. Roy is attending his first year here at CSULB and loves it so far. He’s from Carson, California and commutes to school. He’s working towards his Political Science BA and hopes to use it in law. Roy is also apart of PAC, which is a Filipino based club here at CSULB. During the course of our conversation, we shared stories of our horrible past jobs. I worked as a lifeguard at a waterpark and hated it, while Alecia used to work at Baskin Robbins. Unfortunately she wasn’t too fond of working there either. Roy on the other hand has never worked before, so we suggested to never work at Baskin Robbins or at a waterpark as a lifeguard. Unfortunately through the course of our discussion we forgot to take a picture together as a group. I hope to see these two more often during class meetings.
